Our Forklift Operators are responsible for accurate, efficient, and safe handling of all inbound and outbound materials within the distribution center.

Forklift Operator Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, inspect, and process incoming shipments to verify accuracy, quality, and documentation.
• Accurately label, tag, and store products in designated warehouse locations according to established procedures.
• Pick, pack, stage, and ship products in alignment with work orders, customer orders, and distribution schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages, discrepancies, or quality concerns to leadership.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with monthly, quarterly, or annual physical inventories.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with company and OSHA guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of all warehouse areas including storage, aisles, docks, and staging zones.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO and other inventory rotation principles to ensure proper stock management.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments while ensuring accuracy and damage prevention.
• Accurately record all inventory movements and transactions within the warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP system.
• Complete required documentation such as shipping manifests, bills of lading, receiving logs, and inventory reports per company procedures.
• Identify, report, and escalate damaged goods, equipment issues, inventory discrepancies, or safety concerns promptly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience preferred.
• Pallet jack and forklift experience.
• Basic computer or scanner skills (ERP/WMS experience a plus).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
