Material Handler​/Shipper

Position: Material Handler/ Shipper
Primary Responsibilities and Duties

* Ensures all safety procedures are followed and actively works to improve our safety program.

* Ensures all quality procedures are followed and actively works to improve our quality program.

* Follows all procedures & work instructions.

* Works to maintain a clean & organized working environment (5s)

* Pick orders timely & correctly.

* Ability to learn & navigate our inventory control system/ shipping system (UPS/ Fed-ex)

* Assure timely flow of goods.

* Ability to check-in & put away parts using tablets & scanners.

* Prepare handling of goods

* Material receipts

* Ability to process shipments in a correct order.

* Ability to pick & pack orders sturdy & presentable.

* Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

* HS Diploma or equivalent preferred

* Tow motor experience/pallet jack

* Flexible with hours

* Computer processing experience (UPS World Ship, Fed-ex)

* Warehouse experience using barcode scanners.

* Must be able to work in the US.

* This position requires frequent communications with other employees and freight carriers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
