Job Overview

L&H Companies is experiencing growth and is seeking a full-time Senior Sign Installer to join our Team.

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Installation of both non-electrical and electrical signs such as poles, pylon, monuments, channel letters, ADA, lobby signs, and more
• Surveying, removing, installing and servicing various sign types
• Lead the interpretation and application of 2D/3D drawings as required
• Perform tasks with no supervision while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
• Interact professionally with other employees, customers, and suppliers
• Train and mentor junior staff
• Demonstrate, lead and maintain safety practices
• Time management as per job requirements
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

• Possess a Class A or B CDL or willing to obtain one
• A valid driver's License
• Five (5) plus years of experience as a Senior Sign Installer
• Experience conducting site surveys - obtaining photos and measurements, evaluating accessibility, taking inventory of existing signage is a plus
• Experience installing all types of commercial signage, channel letters, pylons, monuments, etc.
• Knowledge of electrical safety practices.
• Physical strength and stamina, ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Good balance and hand-eye coordination
• Comfortable working at various heights
• Expert knowledge of hardware and hand power tools
• The ability to read, interpret and follow installation drawings
• The ability to work outside of regular business hours if/when needed
• Willing to be trained in other areas of the business
• Must be willing to travel
• Must be able to work as part of a Team and lead others
• Possess an OSHA 10/30 Certification or willing to obtain one
• The ability to work in all weather conditions and in confined spaces
