GeneralMRI Technologist Job Details
- Assignment Length: 13-week travel contract
- Location: Reading, Pennsylvania 19611 (Reading healthcare jobs)
- Work Setting: Hospital, outpatient, and clinic environments
- Shift: 8-hour evening shifts; every 3rd Sunday required
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,350 - $2,530
- Start Date: February 9, 2026
- End Date: May 10, 2026
- Employment Type: Travel healthcare contract
- At least 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist (MRI tech jobs)
- Current ARRT (MR) certification required
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Demonstrated experience with GE MRI equipment
- Proficiency in contrast administration, trauma studies, triple phase studies, and venipuncture
- Ability to complete fingerprinting prior to start (no pending results allowed)
- Flu shot required during flu season (AMN approved exemption or vaccine accepted)
- Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders and department protocols
- Administer contrast agents and conduct trauma and triple phase MRI studies
- Operate and troubleshoot GE MRI equipment
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction throughout the imaging process
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care
- Comply with all hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and safety standards
