* Qualifications:

* * Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field preferred.

* Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education (K-12) or equivalent required.

* Experience working with young students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) preferred.

* Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and other evidence-based practices for supporting students with ASD preferred.

* Ability to create and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.

* Duties & Responsibilities:

* * Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with ASD, in collaboration with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.

* Design and deliver instructional lessons that are differentiated to meet the unique needs of each student, focusing on academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.

* Utilize evidence-based strategies and interventions to promote communication, social skills development, and independence among students.

* Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting instructional strategies and goals as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.

* Maintain ongoing communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress, challenges, and achievements.

* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning, respect, and emotional support for all students.

* Collaborate effectively with other educators, therapists, and support staff to coordinate services and optimize student outcomes.

* Salary & Schedule beginning 2024-25 School Year (Professional):
* * $56,355 to $87,396 - Instructional I Certification
* $58,814 to $90,897 - Instructional II Certification
* $62,567 to $99,261 - Master's Degree
* $66,706 to $105,039 - Masters + 30
