Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
5-10 years of project management experience overseeing industrial, manufacturing, or other complex construction projects

• Experience serving as an owner's representative, managing contractors, consultants, and design teams

• Proven ability to assist with general contractor and subcontractor selection, procurement, and contract negotiation

• Strong background in budgeting, scheduling, and construction execution for large capital projects

• Proficiency with project management and scheduling software such as MS Project or Primavera

• Thorough understanding of construction safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance

• PMP or CCM certification preferred

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

• Willingness to travel up to 25% for site visits, contractor meetings, and project reviews

Main Duties:

• Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of complex industrial and infrastructure construction projects

• Act as the primary owner's representative, ensuring alignment between client objectives and contractor performance

• Participate in RFP processes, contractor evaluations, and bid reviews to support GC and subcontractor selection

• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and cost forecasts, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope

• Coordinate closely with design, engineering, and construction teams to ensure technical accuracy and constructability

• Monitor construction progress, perform site evaluations, and address field issues proactively

• Lead risk management efforts and enforce adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards

• Manage contracts, vendor relationships, and procurement activities to maintain efficiency and accountability

• Prepare detailed progress reports, dashboards, and executive-level updates

• Mentor junior project staff and promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement

Location & Commuting Expectations
While much of this role can be completed remotely or independently, the ideal candidate will live within a reasonable driving distance of the project and company location(s) to allow for in-person collaboration, client meetings, or site visits as needed, generally about once per month.
