Staff Accountant

Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. This role is ideal for professionals with strong accounting expertise who thrive in dynamic environments and are committed to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare financial statements.

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Maintain organized and precise financial records and reports.

- Process bank deposits and track invoices effectively.

- Assist with accounting tasks related to non-profit activities as required.

- Collaborate with internal departments to collect and verify financial information.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a closely related field.

- Proficiency in preparing financial statements and supporting documentation.

- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.

- Understanding of non-profit accounting principles is advantageous.

- Advanced skills in Excel, including creating and using formulas for efficient data management.
