PRN Clinician

Licensed Clinician - PRN Group Therapy

Recovery Village Kansas City, a physician‑led adult rehab facility, seeks a licensed clinician to provide group therapy and support patient recovery. This is a PRN (as needed) position with flexible scheduling. Weekend shifts carry a $6/hr differential.

• 7 days a week, 8 am–4:30 pm; ideal candidates can pick up shifts Thursday–Monday.
• Pay range: $32–$41 per hour plus $6 per hour weekend shift differential.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy per the Clinical Director’s curriculum.
• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial and bio‑psychosocial assessments.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and update master treatment plans.
• Maintain documentation compliance: biopsychosocial assessment, integrated summary, problem list, master treatment plan, ASAM, therapy notes, discharge summary; all within required turnaround times.
• Implement evidence‑based interventions and de‑escalation techniques.
• Assess risk to self or others and co‑occurring mental health disorders.
• Manage after‑care recommendations and support successful recovery.
• Participate in crisis intervention and multidisciplinary treatment plan reviews.
• Attend daily flash meetings and handle administrative responsibilities when the Clinical Director is absent.
• Complete documentation to meet 92 % daily compliance metrics.
• Maintain safe therapeutic environment, positive staff relationships, and professional boundaries.
• Engage in quality improvement activities and pursue professional development.

• Master’s degree with appropriate licensure/certification.
• Licensed in Missouri: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, PLPC, LMSW, PLP, PLMFT.
• CPR and BFA certification required.

• Minimum 1 year of work experience in the behavioral health field (preferred).

• Strong communication and written skills.
• Knowledge of State & Federal confidentiality statutes.
• Familiarity with licensing and accreditation standards.
