Our Toad Hall Day Nursery in Rayleigh, part of Grandir UK, is currently looking for an Early Years Educator with Level 2 or 3 or above in Early Years to join our team. You’ll be working hard to care for, support, share a story with, and meet the needs of our children.

What will you be doing:
  • Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children
  • Assume key carer responsibilities for designated children
  • Ensure that all children attending the nursery receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development
  • Prepare and support children’s activities
  • In the absence of the Team/Room Leader maintain effective day‑to‑day management of the environment
  • Contribute to ensuring that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Support and mentor students and un‑qualified staff to ensure delivery of high‑quality childcare practice
Qualifications and Requirements

• Level 2 or 3 or above in Early Years required.

• Enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.

• Recognised safeguarding and welfare training is desirable.
