Key Responsibilities

You are responsible for cleaning office areas using correct materials and equipment, following the schedule and standards set by the cleaning supervisor and building coordinator. Health and Safety guidelines must be followed when handling and storing cleaning materials and machinery. Report any areas for improvement or safety breaches to the supervisor or management and communicate concerns promptly. Maintain a visible presence on-site with your  visible, contribute to the development of the cleaning schedule, resolve Health & Safety breaches, and engage in required training and compliance activities.

Report larger items of rubbish to the appropriate personnel and maintain high cleaning standards. Work collaboratively with the cleaning supervisor and team to ensure a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Awareness of COSHH and Health & Safety
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with all to provide good customer and cleaning services
  • Knowledge and awareness of health, safety, environmental & compliance relating to cleaning products
  • Must have a driving licence
  • Good timekeeping and cleaning experience
  • Ability to deliver a high‑quality cleaning service
  • Preferred: previous experience in a similar cleaning role and understanding of COSHH regulations and the use of PPE
