Location: Northamptonshire
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: £90-100 per day
Contract: Full Time, Temp-to-Perm

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and dedicated SEMH Specialist Teaching Assistants to join a successful and supportive Learning Support team. If you have experience working with secondary-age pupils with SEMH needs and are passionate about making a positive difference in students' lives, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities- Provide tailored support to secondary-age students with SEMH needs within the classroom and on a 1:1 or small group basis
- Assist in the delivery of differentiated lessons to meet the individual needs of students
- Support students in managing their emotions, behaviours, and social interactions
- Work closely with the teaching staff and SENCO to develop and implement individual learning plans
- Monitor and record students' progress, and provide feedback to teachers and parents
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and calm learning environment for students
- Contribute to the broader life of the school, supporting school activities and initiatives where required
- Experience working with secondary-age pupils with SEMH needs (preferred)
- A passion for supporting students with diverse needs and helping them to achieve their full potential
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents
- A proactive and patient approach to supporting students
- A relevant qualification in supporting students with additional needs (e.g. Level 2/3 TA qualification, or equivalent)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of safeguarding policies and a commitment to the wellbeing of students
- Dedicated consultant who will support you every step of the way
