Position Overview: We are seeking an additional dedicated and collaborative leader to join our administrative team as Vice Principal of Idaho’s top achieving school. The ideal candidate will assist the Principal in fostering a safe and high-achieving learning environment. You will be responsible for overseeing daily school operations, supporting teacher development, and managing student affairs to ensure academic and social success for all students.
Key Responsibilities- Instructional Leadership:
Support the Principal in increasing teacher capacity through instructional coaching and classroom walkthroughs. - Student Support & Discipline:
Manage student behavior and attendance systems while maintaining a positive school culture focused on growth. - Operations & Logistics:
Assist with master scheduling, facilities management, and the coordination of school-wide events and safety drills. - Data-Driven Progress:
Analyze student data and school report cards to help implement the district’s strategic plan and close achievement gaps for underperforming students. - Community Engagement:
Act as a liaison between the school, parents, and community partners to promote and support the school’s mission.
- Education:
Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or a related field. - Certification:
Valid State Administrative/Principal License. - Experience:
Minimum of ten (10) years of successful classroom teaching or instructional coaching experience. - Skills:
Proven ability to work well with adults, communicate effectively under pressure, and manage complex organizational tasks. - Cultural fit:
Must be able to unequivocally support and implement the school’s mission and be a team player.
