About Wynn Al Marjan Island:
On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in early 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five‑star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Shift Supervisor to join the resort’s Surveillance team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Gaming Surveillance Room operations, assigning tasks to the team, and maintaining the administrative responsibilities of the shift.
  • Set a good example, being a model for how the line‑level work gets completed while also assisting with management duties.
  • Assist in scheduling, shift changes, and ensuring adequate staffing for operational needs.
  • Help coordinate ongoing team training to keep staff updated on current surveillance practices, regulatory changes, and emergent security threats.
  • Review incident reports, ensure their accuracy and completeness, and elevate significant issues to senior management as appropriate.
  • Participate in department meetings and contribute to the refinement of surveillance protocols and policies.
  • Monitor casino gaming areas, cash handling locations, and other sensitive areas using advanced surveillance systems and technologies.
  • Detect and respond to suspicious behaviors, cheating, theft, and fraud attempts, ensuring prompt intervention and accurate documentation.
  • Conduct targeted investigations into incidents as required, reviewing surveillance footage and compiling detailed reports for management and regulatory authorities.
  • Maintain a real‑time awareness of all casino operations and communicate significant observations immediately to relevant departments.
  • Ensure all shifts are covered and surveillance operations are fully functional throughout the assigned hours.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulations, enforcing property and department business processes and maintain communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in maintaining a proactive vs. reactive approach and philosophy of the Surveillance department.
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct. This also includes holding the team accountable to company policies and procedures.
About You
  • Sound understanding of game protection principles. Must understand all casino games, advantage play opportunities and basics of casino mathematics.
  • The ability to observe and interpret subtle behaviors, patterns, and potential risks is paramount in this role. An exceptional eye for detail enables the identification of irregularities and supports accurate reporting and decision‑making.
  • Sound understanding of gaming and financial operations, game technologies and all gaming equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills and must possess the ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management.
  • Follow instructions and be able to work independently as well as perform in a team environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of all regulations.
  • The casino environment is dynamic. The ability to remain composed under pressure and adapt to rapidly evolving situations is vital.
  • Ability to professionally read, write and speak English.
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • 3 years of experience in Surveillance, with at least 1 year in a management role.
  • High School Diploma is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum age 21.
  • Majority of work will be done in an office environment. Occasionally this role will be required to work in public areas of the resort or outdoors.
  • Ability to stand or sit for an entire shift.
  • Must be able to watch monitors for an entire shift.
