Supervise and coordinate Body Preparation department in-charges across all manufacturing units to meet daily production requirements and quality standards. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Body Preparation Department (Ball Mills and Spray Driers), including raw material planning, project implementation, scheduling and optimal utilization of available resources

• Coordinate, support and provide guidance to Body Preparation In charges across all manufacturing units.
• Monitor day-to-day operations of Body Preparation department (Ball Mill & Spray drier operations) and resolve issues to get the maximum output and ensure that the output meets all quality standards.
• Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.
• MUDA material management, overlooking fired tile crusher operations, actively monitoring fired tile & other process waste generation & consumption trend across all plants.
• Determine the number & amount of necessary resources like raw material availability, planning of Bulk Raw materials & issue of monthly "PR" for the same.
• Quality testing & inspection of new raw material (Bulk cargo monitoring) in coordination with stores & CAL team.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports to monitor the performances of all teams.
• Create, communicate and implement all body preparation department SOPs and verifies that all are delegated down.
• Overlooking Ceramin raw material stock inventory & monitoring local raw material (Usage & Quality).
• Reviews deficiencies from QC/QA, CAL reports and takes appropriate steps to ensure all standards are met.
• Identifies deficiencies in personnel training and develops programs to address.
• Identifies opportunities for continuous process improvement and works inter-departmentally to implement new ideas.
• Implementing new techniques across body preparation to work towards lean production in order to achieve six-sigma performance in production.
• Participate in TPM activities across all pillars, analyze machine and process losses, and implement corrective actions.

Some of the key competencies required for the role include:

• Knowledge of manufacturing process in Ceramic Industry
• Good understanding of the latest technological advancement in the Ceramic Industry

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Ceramics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the ceramic industry, including 7–10 years in a large ceramic manufacturing setup.
• Strong knowledge of ceramic raw materials, understanding of formulation principles, and familiarity with quality inspection Mechanism
