• Regular Upkeep/Planned Preventive Upkeep as scheduled by the line supervisor.
• Examine and clean the particular tools to be preserved i.e., Cameras, DVR/NVR, Switches and Boundary Discovery Solution (PIDs) complying with the maintenance SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) according to the design specifications, drawings and advance maintenance record.
• Identify and, when approved, repair mistakes discovered on upkeep visits.
• Setup and appointing of top-level security system hardware.
• Appointing and testing of protection systems.
• Installation and appointing of software and networking systems.
• Record daily to the line supervisor and send timely working records, expenditures and car mileage sheets when asked for.
• Deal with the installation and appointing of special jobs as and when appointed.

• 5 or more years' work experience as a security system engineer or related position (essential).
• Good verbal and written skills (necessary).
• Ability to work independently and use initiative (vital).
• Knowledge of security systems including diagnosing and handling antivirus applications, firewall software, authentication systems and intruder detection alert systems (vital).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (important).
• Proficient in using a laptop to remotely access customer sites for first-line troubleshoot (important).
• Experience with AutoCAD or related drawing software (desirable).
• Troubleshooting network and software issues (desirable).
• Valid UAE driving license (essential).
