Lighting Technician

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with the setup and operation of technical equipment in continuous or live production environments, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain equipment; support troubleshooting and elevate issues to senior team members when needed.
• Provide updates to supervisors on daily operations, equipment condition, and any technical concerns.
• Follow safety standards and industry best practices, ensuring all operations meet compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with other technical teams to integrate systems and achieve seamless production workflows.
• Contribute to maintaining accurate logs of equipment use and stay informed on relevant industry trends and emerging technologies.

• Fluent in English, with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
• Prior experience in technical operations within studio, production, or live event environments. Familiarity with equipment and control systems relevant to the role.
• Ability to read and follow technical plans or instructions. Understanding of safety standards and operational best practices.
• Capable of assisting with troubleshooting under pressure in fast‑paced, live environments.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and availability to work varied shifts, including occasional nights and weekends.
• Familiarity with software tools or systems relevant to technical operations.
• Technical certification or formal training in a related field (e.g., audiovisuals, electrical, electronics, or production technology).
