About Wynn Al Marjan Island:
On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in spring 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five‑star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.
Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking an Assistant Manager to join the resort’s Pool Services team.
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Assist in overseeing daily pool operations, including lifeguard and pool attendant scheduling, guest services, and cleanliness.
- Monitor water quality and coordinate with engineering for maintenance and repairs.
- Support the Aquatics Manager in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Supervise and train team members to maintain high standards of service and safety.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain inventory of pool supplies and assist with ordering and stock control.
- Ensure poolside amenities (towels, cabanas, loungers) are well‑maintained and presented.
- Assist in organizing poolside events and special services.
- Ensure qualitative Forbes Five Star standards are met.
- Maintain accurate records of water testing, incident reports, and staff certifications.
- Promote a positive team culture focused on guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Recreation, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in pool or recreation operations, with supervisory experience.
- Lifeguard and First Aid/CPR certification required;
Pool Operator Certification preferred. - Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of pool maintenance and water safety standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Prior experience and training with Forbes Travel Guide standards required.
