Overview

A Guest Service Agent provides reception services for guests to contribute to an overall exceptional experience from check‑in through check‑out and complete audits, as required.

Responsibilities
  • Resolve guest queries promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure a smooth reception experience, including check‑in/check‑out and audit procedures.
  • Communicate relevant guest feedback to the Guest Service Manager.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service at all times.
  • Participate in training courses and support night team development.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of room categories, rates, packages, and promotions.
  • Maximize room occupancy through upselling techniques.
  • Accept foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash following hotel credit policy.
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and health & safety legislation.
  • Follow policies and procedures for front‑of‑house equipment and property management systems.
  • Adhere to company brand standards.
  • Assist other departments as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a customer‑focused industry.
  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high‑level customer service.
  • Excellent grooming standards.
  • Calm, efficient, and organized with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude with guests.
  • Professional demeanor with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Competent IT proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in cash handling.
  • Front office or concierge experience in the hotel, leisure, or entertainment sectors.
  • Conflict resolution experience.
