A Housekeeping Attendant will support all Housekeeping and Laundry functions by analyzing guest requests, delegating staff responsibilities, and ensuring efficient, timely execution to provide an exceptional guest experience.

What will I be doing?
  • Ensure consistently high operating standards in every area of Housekeeping and Laundry as identified by the hotel brand standards
  • Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of all Housekeeping and Laundry Team Members with an emphasis on training and teamwork
  • Provide excellent guest service
  • Actively work on availability and release of rooms for guest service along with Floor Housekeeping supervision
  • Manage the controls of the Housekeeping department, such as employee scheduling, release of master keys, incident reporting, input/output of uniforms and linen
  • Responsible for checking daily the guest information in the CRM and ensuring that the preferences and requests are met on time
  • Request flowers for special occasions (marriage, death, maternity, etc.) and provide embroidery for special linen (wedding and pampering)
  • Control monthly Lost & Found and donations
  • Check uniforms and send for cleaning/repair
  • Coordinate and control all traffic of documents and personnel within the department; release linen of laundry daily
  • Make daily guest clothing release of guests that use the laundry service
  • Perform monthly closing of laundry expenses and provisions
  • Replace Laundry Attendant in case of holidays, days off or absences

  • Proficiency with computers (Intermediate level), including Microsoft Office
