The Hotel Animator is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and delivering engaging recreational and entertainment activities for hotel guests of all ages. This role is essential in creating a vibrant, enjoyable atmosphere that enhances the guest experience and encourages guest participation and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and execute daily entertainment programs and activities (e.g., games, sports, arts & crafts, themed evenings, kids’ activities).
- Interact actively with guests, encouraging participation and ensuring everyone feels welcome and included.
- Host or support evening entertainment such as quizzes, karaoke, live shows, or themed parties.
- Monitor and ensure the safety of guests during all activities.
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., F&B, Front Office) to coordinate events and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain activity equipment and areas in clean and working condition.
- Adapt activities to suit guest demographics and seasonal demand.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve minor issues during activities.
- Represent the hotel’s values with a friendly and energetic attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree or certification in hospitality, tourism, performing arts, or recreation is a plus.
- Proven experience in entertainment, recreation, guest relations, or a similar role, preferably in a hotel, resort, or cruise ship environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills – must be friendly, outgoing, and confident engaging with guests of all ages and backgrounds.
