The Pre-Sales Engineer ( Generator & Mechanical Systems) is accountable for advising and coordinating with the Sales team on all technical issues related but not limited to account penetration strategies, pre-sales implementations, solution design and training. S/He is a technical expert building strong relationships with partners and customers and driving the business through multiple technical initiatives.
Responsibilities- Review customer specifications and project requirements for generator-based solutions
- Prepare detailed technical and commercial offers with full cost breakdown
- Customize generator solutions including canopies and enclosures
- Perform airflow and ventilation calculations for generator canopies and rooms
- Prepare compliance statements and detailed mechanical and instrumentation breakdowns
- Generator systems and accessories
- Customized generator canopies and acoustic enclosures
- Airflow calculation and ventilation design
- Mechanical components including valves and electric valves
- Fuel piping and fuel systems
- Heat detectors and sensor instrumentation
- Fuel polishing systems
- Strong mechanical system knowledge
- Experience in offer preparation and BOQ development
- Ability to select and integrate mechanical and electrical instruments
- Strong analytical and estimation skills
