Civil Engineer

Overview

As a Civil Engineer with 3–5 years of experience, you will be responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities, ensuring they align with technical designs, project schedules, and Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) Municipality regulations. This role bridges site supervision and technical project coordination.

• Site Supervision:
  Oversee day-to-day civil and structural works, ensuring adherence to approved shop drawings and specifications.
• Quality & Safety:
  Conduct regular inspections to maintain high quality control standards and ensure full compliance with UAE health and safety (HSE) protocols.
• Resource Management: Coordinate and manage on-site resources, including subcontractors, labor, equipment, and materials to optimize productivity.
• Technical Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed site diaries, progress reports, and technical documentation for the Resident Engineer or Project Manager.
• Authority Coordination: Liaise with consultants, contractors, and RAK local authorities (such as RAKEZ or the Municipality) for required inspections and project approvals.
• Problem Solving: Resolve technical issues and discrepancies arising from field operations or design conflicts immediately on-site.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Experience: 3–5 years of proven civil engineering experience, preferably within the UAE or Gulf region.

  Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, MS Office, and potentially Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Certifications: Candidates with RAK Municipality certification (e.g., G+4 or higher) or a valid Society of Engineers card are often preferred.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills to handle diverse site teams and stakeholders.
