Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior HVAC Engineer for a full-time, on-site position based in Ras Al Khaima. The position involves designing HVAC systems, overseeing installation and maintenance processes, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The Senior HVAC Engineer will collaborate with project teams, utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for drafting, and contribute to the planning and execution of efficient HVAC solutions for various building projects.
The role also includes diagnosing and resolving HVAC-related issues and ensuring systems are operating at peak performance.
- Preparation and submission of technical submittals for MEP equipment and materials in accordance with the manufacturer list approved by the Consultant/Client.
- Review of contract drawings
, preparation and submission of shop drawings
, and obtaining approvals from the Consultant/Client. - Preparation and submission of design calculations
, including heat load calculations (HAP),
fan static pressure calculations
, and related MEP design documents. - Preparation and submission of method statements for MEP installation, testing, and commissioning activities, and obtaining Consultant approval.
- Preparation of Material Take-Offs (MTO) and issuance of enquiries to suppliers for procurement.
- Attendance at technical meetings with Consultants and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Preparation of daily site reports
, highlighting progress, productivity, and site-related issues, and reporting to management. - Preparation and submission of Requests for Information (RFI) related to MEP works.
- Supervision of site execution
, coordination with site teams, and interface management with the Civil/Structural teams
. - Preparation and submission of running bills in line with project progress.
- Preparation, justification, and submission of variation claims
. - Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of HVAC systems including VRF systems, FCUs, AHUs, fans, and car park ventilation systems
