MEP Draughtsman

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Draughtsman to prepare accurate shop drawings and coordinated layouts for Mechanical (HVAC), Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. The role requires strong coordination capabilities, technical drafting expertise, and the ability to work closely with engineers, consultants, and site teams to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.

• Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings for HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing systems in accordance with project requirements
• Develop coordinated MEP layouts to resolve clashes between mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and architectural elements
• Perform MEP coordination using approved drawings, specifications, and site conditions
• Update drawings based on consultant comments, site conditions, and design changes
• Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion
• Coordinate with MEP engineers, site supervisors, and project teams for technical clarifications
• Ensure drawings comply with local authority regulations, codes, and project standards
• Maintain proper documentation control and drawing registers
• Assist in material submittals and technical documentation as required

• MEP coordination and clash resolution
• HVAC ducting and piping layout drawings
• Electrical power, lighting, and ELV drawings
• Plumbing and drainage system drawings
• Preparation of shop drawings and as-built drawings

• AutoCAD (mandatory)
• Revit MEP (preferred / added advantage)
• Navisworks for coordination (preferred)
• MS Office for documentation and reporting

• Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction methodology
• Ability read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of local codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, etc., if applicable)
• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple drawings
