Architectural Draftsman

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Architectural Draftsman to join our Interior Design Department at RAK Ceramics HQ in Ras Al Khaimah. This role plays a critical part in turning design concepts into precise technical drawings for execution. You will prepare 2D and 3D layouts, elevations, and detailed drawings aligned with RAK Ceramics’ product range and standards. Collaboration with designers and technical teams will be key to successful project delivery.

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings based on design concepts and technical inputs
• Develop layout plans, elevations, tile setting-outs, and joinery/shop drawings
• Create accurate technical documentation for internal and external use
• Align all drawings with RAK Ceramics product formats, specifications, and detailing standards
• Update and revise drawings based on design feedback or site requirements
• Maintain organized CAD files, drawing logs, and documentation archives
• Coordinate with the design team, product teams, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution
• Monitor project timelines to ensure drawings are delivered on time
• Stay updated on new RAK Ceramics products and integrate them effectively in project layouts

Functional

• Strong drafting and detailing skills using AutoCAD (required)
• Familiarity with Sketch Up, Revit, or other relevant software (preferred)
• Knowledge of tile, slab, and fit-out detailing
• Ability to interpret architectural and interior design drawings
• Understanding of technical design documentation standards
• Basic understanding of construction materials and methods

• A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering
  , Architectural Drafting
  , or a related technical field
• 1–3 years of experience in architectural drafting or interior detailing
• Proven ability to prepare high-quality technical drawings and layouts
• Familiarity with ceramic product application is an advantage

• National Travel: Occasionally (for site visits or coordination meetings)
• International Travel: Not required
