We are looking for a Senior Developer – Service Now & Power Shell/Python Automation to build and maintain automation solutions that improve operational efficiency across our Service Now environment. This role requires hands‑on experience with Power Shell, Python, CI/CD pipelines, serverless functions, and workflow automation within Service Now.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, test, and maintain Power Shell and Python scripts to automate endpoint tasks and streamline operations within Service Now.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to support seamless integration and deployment of Service Now applications and related systems.
- Use orchestration tools to automate workflows and manage complex processes within the Service Now platform.
- Build and deploy serverless functions to improve application scalability and performance using cloud provider capabilities.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate Power Shell solutions with Service Now, leveraging Git for version control.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data management, reporting, and analysis.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain automation scripts and Service Now workflows to ensure accuracy, reliability, and uptime.
- Document processes, scripts, and workflows for internal knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Experience with Power Shell, Python, and enterprise automation.
- Hands‑on experience working with Service Now workflows, integrations, or automation tools.
- Knowledge of Git for version control.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins).
- Strong understanding of SQL and data handling best practices.
- Solid troubleshooting skills and an automation‑first mindset.

The annual salary for this position is between $49,001– $92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
