Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into one “clean” ERP as a standardized platform for growth and efficiency gains. This program will simplify the Innovative Medicine ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardizing processes to have a cost‑effective, fit‑for‑purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Innovative Medicine business with agility.

Additionally, the program will remediate the end‑of‑life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.

We are searching for the best talent for a Transcend Deployment Senior Manager! This hybrid position will be located in Titusville, New Jersey. Alternate hybrid locations may be considered in Raritan, NJ and Brussels, Belgium.

The Manager plays a critical leadership role with the J&J Innovative Medicine (IM) Transcend team and serves as a member of the Deployment team. The Manager is accountable for serving as a Deployment lead for one of the planned releases over all aspects of project planning, project management, risk management, resource management, stage gate readiness. They will also ensure appropriate project management tools are implemented and used by the collective team.

• Administers day‑to‑day operations to support Deployment projects activities based on the different Deployment phases, i.e. Discovery, Mobilization, Solution confirmation, Testing, Cutover or Hypercare.
• Support the implementation of program methodology based on the new operating model, including relevant templates, tools, controls, and cadence. Scale existing assets and standard processes to the new operating model.
• Lead daily and weekly program team cadence and meetings and reporting. Ensure program timeliness are appropriately handled, identify and raise risks an appropriate.
• Handle cross‑program interdependencies, issues, and challenges by working with respective collaborators to implement controls, cadence, and risk mitigations.
• Ensure cross‑program work streams like Testing, Cutover, Hypercare, etc. are coordinated and performing per plan. Drive standard methodologies, scale, leverageability, and resource optimization.
