About the Role:

This role leads the security architecture for SAP BTP and S/4

HANA, ensuring secure design, governance, and compliance across global programs. You will guide technical teams, drive issue resolution, and deliver scalable, enterprise-grade security solutions.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Assess functional requirements and recommend solutions aligned with established Application Security and Compliance standards. Translate functional specifications into technical data-level security designs.
• Provide S/4
  
  HANA Security support in alignment with global security strategy and governance.
• Configure and maintain security groups, roles, and permissions across SAP applications.
• Perform user administration through Active Directory or enterprise IAM platforms.
• Apply strong understanding of Net Weaver, S/4
  
  HANA, and data-level security, collaborating with technical teams to address and mitigate security concerns.
• Manage and support ERP, S/4
  
  HANA, and BW/4
  
  HANA security frameworks.
• Identify risks and compliance issues using Segregation of Duties (SoD) checks and remediation controls.
• Develop and enforce Application Data Security policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Provide leadership, supervise task progress, and support decision-making across complex work streams.
• Collaborate with onsite and offshore development teams to drive aligned security outcomes.
• Partner with the Support Lead to ensure timely issue resolution and stakeholder transparency.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Lead the design and delivery of security solutions for the SAP BTP platform, ensuring all implementations align with project timelines, quality standards, and governance expectations.
• Oversee end-to-end security architecture, implementation, progress tracking, metrics reporting, and timely issue resolution for BTP security initiatives.
• Evaluate functional requirements and guide teams using application security principles, compliance best practices, and transparent design standards.
• Enable and support CI/CD-based development for SAP BTP solutions.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in S/4
  
  HANA Security design.
• 3+ years of experience in SAP BTP Security architecture and design.
• Strong expertise in BW/4
  
  HANA Security.
• Solid understanding of enterprise architecture and modern development methodologies.
• Knowledge of Data Security, Success Factors Security, and SAP authorization concepts.
• Experience with regional/global SAP rollouts and delivering complex, large-scale technology programs is preferred.
