Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Architect to lead large-scale global S/4

HANA business transformation programs. This role requires deep expertise in SAP S/4

HANA, SAP MDG, SAP Data Migration, Data Governance, industry best practices, and strong leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering enterprise ERP implementations, leading data strategy, and working closely with clients to drive transformation success.

Must-Have Technical & Functional Skills

SAP & Data Expertise

• Extensive experience leading global S/4
  
  HANA transformation programs as a Data Lead.
• Strong experience in SAP BODS (Business Objects Data Services).
• Deep understanding of SAP S/4
  
  HANA master data elements
  , data structures, and data integration across modules.
• Hands-on experience in SAP MDG implementations
  , including designing governance and data management frameworks.
• Proven capability to conduct client workshops and present SAP data strategies to stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of industry KPIs
  , S/4
  
  HANA functionalities, and their business value.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications
  .
• Expert understanding of master and transactional data
  , leading data migration tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Ability to work hands-on when necessary.

Leadership & Delivery Experience

• Minimum five (5) full lifecycle ERP implementations as an ERP Project Manager with multi-module scope (Finance, Sales, Production, Purchasing, Warehouse).
• At least ten (10) years of ERP consulting or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum six (6) years of experience in proposals, business case creation, and sales support
  .
• Proven sales experience and ability to support pre-sales activities.
• Experience managing teams of 20+ resources
  .
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated experience leading major transformational initiatives
  .
• Ability to mentor, lead, and direct both consulting and client teams.

Other Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Computer Science or equivalent).
• Willingness to travel up to 40% (domestic/international as needed) - all expenses covered.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the data strategy, design, and governance for large S/4
  
  HANA transformation programs.
• Oversee SAP MDG implementation
  , configuration, and governance framework setup.
• Drive end-to-end data migration strategy
  , execution, and validation.
• Lead workshops with business stakeholders and process owners to define data requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Finance, Sales, Production, Purchasing, and Warehouse.
• Develop and validate technical specifications
  , mapping documents, and data transformation rules.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in master data, transactional data, and integrations.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource planning for data tracks.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to large global teams (20+ members).
• Support pre-sales activities: proposals, estimations, solution demos, and business cases.
• Ensure successful delivery of SAP data solutions aligned with business goals.
