Job Description:As a Snowflake Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing data solutions using Snowflake, while leading a team of talented engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and efficient data solutions using Snowflake. Architect and optimize Snowflake data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines to ensure high performance and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of data engineers, ensuring best practices in Snowflake development and data engineering.
Monitor and troubleshoot Snowflake environments to ensure optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and data integrity. Stay up-to-date with the latest Snowflake features, tools, and industry trends, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance data capabilities. Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture, processes, and standards. Ensure compliance with data security and governance policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake. Proven expertise in Snowflake architecture, including data modeling, warehousing, and performance optimization. Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, or similar).
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Snowflake certification (e.g., Snow Pro Core, Snow Pro Advanced) is a plus. Preferred
Skills:
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Knowledge of Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
