Functional Consultant

Akkodis is seeking a Functional Consultant for a Contract with a client in Raritan, NJ
. The ideal candidate brings essential SAP SD Consignment mastery required for this position and consistently leads duties such as configuring pricing, managing IDocs, and supporting end‑to‑end SD operations.

$41/hour to $56/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Lead and manage end‑to‑end SAP SD Consignment processes, including fill‑up, issue, returns, and settlement.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize core SD functionalities such as pricing, delivery, billing, copy controls, and output determination.
• Analyze business requirements and deliver functional solutions, including writing functional specs, supporting UAT, and validating enhancements (user exits, BADIs, routines).
• Monitor and resolve IDoc and EDI interface issues to ensure seamless data flow with external systems.
• Perform basic ABAP debugging to support issue resolution and collaborate with technical teams on custom development.
• Drive process improvements, ensure strong customer satisfaction, and work independently while contributing effectively as part of a cross‑functional team.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of hands‑on experience in SAP SD, with strong expertise in Consignment processes.
• Proven ability to function as a techno‑functional consultant, translating business needs into effective SAP solutions.
• Strong experience in pricing configuration, IDoc troubleshooting, and working with EDI/integration touchpoints.
