Data Solutions Architect – Insurance(P&C) - Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced Data Solutions Architect to lead large‑scale, distributed big data solutions and drive end‑to‑end data lake and business intelligence projects.

Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of end‑to‑end Big Data Lake and Business Intelligence projects, including Tableau/Power BI/Qlik data science initiatives.

• 10+ years of strong experience building large‑scale distributed big data solutions.
• Proven record of consistently architecting, designing, developing, and/or implementing an end‑to‑end Big Data Lake, Business Intelligence – Tableau/Power BI/Qlik, Data Science project.
• Solid experience building Big Data Pipelines (Batch and NRT) on the Hadoop Ecosystem including HDFS, Hive, Spark, Scala, Sqoop, Kafka, NiFi, and real‑time streaming technologies and a host of big data open source stack; well versed in performance tuning of compute‑heavy workloads.
• Working experience with Cloudera distribution and AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud; solid understanding of Data Quality, Data Governance and Data Security.
• Experience with big data solutions like Impala, Oozie, Flume, Sqoop or Zoo Keeper; proficiency in Python/R, Java, Scala, Ruby or C++.
• Experience with cloud‑computing infrastructure solutions such as AWS Redshift, Snowflake, SQL Data Warehouse, Big Query.
• Good experience in database and hands‑on experience in big data technologies such as Hadoop/Hive/Spark/Mongo
  
  DB; experience in data ingestion, data wrangling, data virtualization technologies such as Stream Sets, Trifacta, Denodo will be a big plus.
