Job Description

Field Representative II, MS Onsite Technical Support

Position Profile

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Print Shop Operator to join our growing in-house print center. As demand for high-quality internal collateral continues to rise, we need a dedicated professional to manage the end-to-end production of marketing materials, training documents, presentations, and large-format displays. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on problem solver who takes pride in producing flawless physical materials and thrives in a fast‑paced corporate environment with multiple deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate high-volume digital production printers (e.g., Ricoh) and large‑format plotters (e.g., Roland) to deliver high-quality output.
  • Manage the print queue and review incoming digital files for formatting, bleed, and resolution issues prior to printing (pre‑flighting).
  • Calibrate equipment regularly to ensure brand color consistency across all projects.
  • Perform routine maintenance, clear paper jams, and resolve minor technical issues; coordinate with vendors for major repairs.
  • Utilize finishing equipment for cutting, folding, saddle‑stitching, coil/comb binding, laminating, and scoring.
  • Organize, shrink‑wrap, and package finished jobs for safe inter‑office delivery or shipping.
  • Conduct rigorous quality control checks to ensure accurate pagination, cleanliness, and alignment.
Required Experience & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years in a related role; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency with high‑speed digital copiers/printers and offline finishing equipment (guillotines, folders, binders).
  • Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro (for pre‑flighting) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong time management and ability to prioritize rush jobs without compromising quality.
  • Professional appearance and adherence to company dress standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Meet company attendance standards; 40‑hour workweek, Monday–Friday.
Preferred Experience & Skills
  • Familiarity with Fiery Command Work Station or Versa Works RIP software.
  • Basic design skills in Adobe InDesign or Illustrator for minor file adjustments.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (50–75% of the workday).
  • Ability to lift and move paper boxes and supplies weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity for precise finishing tasks.
