R Local CDL Delivery Driver (Open)
Location:
Rapid City, SD - Retail shop
- Be a Customer Ambassador:
You will be the primary point of contact for our customers, driving an established route to deliver compressed gas cylinders and related products. You will handle customer orders, resolve service complaints, and build strong relationships. - Safety and Efficiency:
You will safely and efficiently load, transport, and unload products from our company-provided straight or box truck, adhering to all DOT and company regulations. - Be a Team Player:
You will assist in-store with customer service at the counter or over the phone and help with other drivers' duties as needed, ensuring our operations run smoothly. - Maintain Your Vehicle:
You will perform routine maintenance checks and keep your truck clean, ensuring it is ready for your daily route. - This role requires a high degree of physical capability and stamina to safely handle and deliver our products with routinely lifting 25-75 lbs and up to 125+ lbs with the aid material handling equipment. You will be frequently bending and driving for up to 8 hours a day of hazardous cargo.
- Experience:
At least one full year of Class A or B CDL driving experience under DOT requirements, or a recent graduation from an accredited driving school. - Certifications:
A Class A or B CDL with a Hazmat endorsement or the ability to obtain your Hazmat upon contingency of offer. - Clean Record: A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is essential and at least 21 years of age.
- Skills:
The ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and read/comprehend material safety data sheets.
