Overview
Position is for a Mechanic to work on propane bobtails and fuel delivery trucks. Description of work is: repair meters, pumps, reels, electrical wiring, transfer tank systems from old trucks to new trucks, calibrate meters, yearly inspections, and pressure tests on the dispensing side of the truck. Will also work on loading systems in the field.
Responsibilities- Repair meters, pumps, reels, electrical wiring, transfer tank systems from old trucks to new trucks, calibrate meters, yearly inspections, and pressure tests on the dispensing side of the truck.
- Work on loading systems in the field.
- Occasionally assist on compressed air systems, pressure washers, and other industrial pump applications or fueling systems.
- Experience working on propane systems is preferred.
- Mechanical experience required.
- Automotive DC electrical experience is needed.
- Must have own basic tools.
- Clean valid driver's license is required.
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
- Some training will be provided for the right individual.
