Position: Sales Rep - Rapid City SD
** Responsibilities
* ** Generate leads and build relationships with homeowners and property managers interested in roofing, siding, and exterior home services.
* Conduct on-site inspections and accurately assess roofing or siding needs.
* Prepare and present detailed, professional estimates to customers, clearly explaining scope, materials, and pricing.
* Close sales efficiently while maintaining a high standard of integrity and customer service.
* Follow up with prospects and maintain a robust pipeline to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
* Collaborate with the production and office teams to ensure smooth project handoffs and customer satisfaction.
* Stay up to date on industry trends, materials, and roofing codes to provide expert guidance to clients.
* Represent Built Right Roofing professionally, maintaining a clean and organized appearance and vehicle while on the job.
** Education Requirements

*** 2 years in sales
** Desired Skills
*** Proficiency with roofing and home service industry CRMs, including Job Nimbus and Procore
* Experience using project documentation and photo management tools such as Company Cam and Hover
* Ability to prepare estimates and claims using software like Xactimate
* Strong communication and presentation skills for explaining projects and estimates to clients
* Excellent organization and time management skills to manage multiple leads and jobs simultaneously
* Ability to track and update sales pipelines accurately in a CRM
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when reviewing project scopes and estimates
* Comfortable with technology and learning new software tools quickly
** Qualifications
* ** Proven experience in roofing, siding, or home service sales with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets
* Ability to read and understand roofing or siding projects, materials, and scope
* Excellent communication and presentation skills to clearly explain estimates and project details to clients
* Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills with homeowners, property managers, and referral partners
* Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to manage a sales pipeline effectively
* Comfortable working in a field-based role, including travel to customer sites
* Professional appearance, demeanor, and commitment to representing the company with integrity
* Knowledge of local roofing codes, materials, and installation best practices is a plus
