• Required Experience:

• RN: 2 years of CVOR experience - Level 1 or 2 trauma experience


• Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes


• Travelers must live >100 miles away from facility


• Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler


• Patient Types:

• Cardio and Thoracic surgeries - CABG, TAVR, Valve replacements, Thoracic cases (lobectomy, hernia repair), Generator exchanges, Lead extractions, Fem-pop bypass, open vascular cases, AAA, carotids, conversions


• May float to Main OR


• Patient Ratios:

• Required Certifications:

• RN: BLS, ACLS

Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing;
Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing

Strong CVOR background is needed across all specialties - ability to work independently with minimal guidance in the following cases: CABG, TAVR, Valve replacements, Thoracic cases are robotic (lobectomy, hernia repair), Generator exchanges, Lead extractions, Heart transplants, Fem-pop Bypass
