As an HVAC and Plumbing Superintendent, you’ll be at the heart of large-scale commercial construction projects—building schools, hospitals, and advanced aerospace facilities that make a difference in communities and industries.
What You’ll Do Lead with Purpose- Take charge of field operations and oversee daily activities of skilled craft workers.
- Direct the day-to-day progress of the job—ensuring optimal staffing, timely material deliveries, and smooth project flow from start to finish.
- Study project specifications and blueprints to develop efficient construction procedures and schedules.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure top-tier performance and seamless coordination on site.
- Manage staffing levels across all construction phases to meet project goals.
- Review and approve subcontractor billings and progress documentation.
- Support the Project Manager with field insights, scheduling input, and purchasing decisions to keep the project on track and under budget.
- Develop and oversee site utilization programs, security arrangements, and logistical support systems.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and records—ensuring compliance and accountability at every level.
- OSHA Safety Training (Accredited)
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in HVAC and Plumbing
- Proven track record in commercial construction (schools, hospitals, aerospace facilities)
- Strong blueprint and specification reading skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to bend, stoop, climb, and lift up to 25 pounds
