We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance law, with a focus on products liability, bad faith, wrongful death, and personal injury. You will have the opportunity to work on complex cases and provide legal guidance to our clients. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Represent insurance companies and their policyholders in civil litigation matters including personal injury, wrongful death, bad faith, and products liability.
• Analyze and interpret insurance policies to provide advice and guidance to clients on potential liability and coverage issues.
• Prepare and present cases in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
• Maintain current knowledge of changes in insurance law and related areas of practice.
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a high level of professionalism.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, with a focus on products liability, bad faith, wrongful death, and personal injury.
• Proficient in legal research and writing.
• Strong negotiation and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, judges, and opposing counsel.
• High level of integrity and professional ethics.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
• Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
