General Information
• Beds: 2 Cath labs, 2 Hybrid peripheral/OR
• Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? Yes, but MUST have Neuro IR experience. Will not accept IR only experience
• Will you accept a first-time traveler? Tech - yes
• Travelers must live 100 miles away from facility
• Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler
• Patient Types:
• Discussed during interview
• This traveler will be a member of the Stroke Team – ICU experience is required
• Patient Ratios:
• RN: 1:1
• Required

Certifications:

• Tech: BLS, ARRT
• Required

Education:

• Tech: ARRT certification, Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - preferred will determine during interview

Skills required:

• Tech:
Sterile technique/scrub technique, Siemens machine, Knowledge of Neuro IR procedures, EPIC, Stroke experience, Circulation for procedures
• Support on the Unit:
• CNA (Ratio): N/A
• Charge nurse: M-F,  
• Phlebotomy: N/A
• IV/VAT Team: N/A
• Charting System:
• EPIC (required)
• Epic Cupid (preferred)
• Alaris
• Omnicell

• Tech: 5 days (8 hr shifts)
• Scheduling:
• Shift: is  when not on call and  when on call
• Call: is one week on, two weeks off
