Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist with ICU and stroke team experience for 10-hour day shifts.
Responsibilities- Work in a medical imaging radiology department with 2 cath labs and 2 hybrid peripheral/OR labs
- Member of the Stroke Team with ICU patient care responsibilities
- Shift is 10-hour days, typically 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with adjustments when on call
- Call schedule is one week on, two weeks off
- No floating required
- Patient population discussed during interview
- EPIC charting system required;
Epic Cupid, Alaris, and Omnicell use preferred - Orientation consists of five 8-hour days
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Must work as a collaborative member of the Stroke Team
- Unit is supported by charge nurse coverage Monday-Friday,
- Scrubs are provided and are procedural in color
- Free parking available
- Permanent staff must wait one year before returning as a traveler
- Weekend and holiday scheduling will be discussed during interview
- Time off requests must be approved by the manager
- Current BLS and ARRT required
- ICU experience required
- Stroke experience required
- Proficiency with sterile/scrub technique and circulation for procedures
- Experience with Siemens machines and Neuro IR procedures required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Minimum of 1 year Neuro IR experience; IR-only experience not accepted
- Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) ARRT preferred (determined during interview)
- License required if applicable
- Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility
