Job Description:

Provide care for patients in a mixed Med/Surg and IMC level unit. Responsibilities include managing various types of medical conditions and administering a variety of treatments and medications.

Responsibilities:

• Care for a mix of Med/Surg to IMC level patients with diverse diagnoses.
• Administer oral, IV, IM, and SQ medications, titratable vasoactive drips, TPN/tube feeding, and blood transfusions.
• Manage peripheral IV, midline, PICC, central line access, and other medical devices.
• Provide preventative and restorative skin and wound care.
• Interpret telemetry monitoring data.

Requirements:

• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Completion of a nursing education program approved by the South Dakota Board of Nursing.
• Experience with Med Surg assignments and comfort with IMC/stepdown and neuro patients.
• EPIC experience required.
