Job Description:

Registered Nurse in the PCU responsible for delivering quality patient care in a mixed acuity unit, including Intermediate Care, Telemetry, and Med Surg.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a mixed acuity setting including surgical, orthopedic, and neuro/spine cases.
• Administer medications, monitor telemetry patients, and perform wound care and dressing changes.
• Manage central lines and perform drip titration under supervision.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• 1 year of Intermediate/Stepdown Level RN experience required.
• Must have experience with EPIC charting system.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) with completion of a state-approved nursing program and South Dakota Board of Nursing licensure.
