Peaceful Pines Senior Living is committed to providing exceptional care and service with compassion. Our community offers a total of 30 independent living units, 29 assisted living units, and 32 memory care units located in the beautiful Black Hills.
ResponsibilitiesThis position will be responsible for the safety and well-being of residents, along with the supervision of care staff. The Memory Care Nurse Manager will provide support in daily compliance with regulations, nursing department policies and procedures, and standard of care for our residents. The Memory Care Nurse Manager will report to the Director of Nursing and agrees to comply with and perform the duties and responsibilities as described below.
In addition, this role may be asked to perform functions not listed below.
- Ensures the well‑being, protection, and high‑quality care of all residents, including monitoring condition changes and notifying appropriate parties as needed.
- Promotes a positive, collaborative work environment and assists with training and supporting Medication Aides and CNAs.
- Supervises staff during assigned shifts and assists with shift coverage as needed.
- Maintains resident confidentiality and ensures accurate documentation, including resident files, ECP entries, evaluations, admissions, discharges, and immunization tracking.
- Manages medication processes, including order entry, first doses, medication changes, reconciliation, destruction, and oversight of medication carts, rooms, and inventory.
- Schedules resident appointments, prepares required medical paperwork, and coordinates care conferences and care plan updates.
- Ensures timely completion of incident reports and compliance with regulations; participates in state licensure surveys.
- Scans, uploads, and maintains required documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Obtains, administers, and documents medications and treatments following approved nursing standards; performs assessments and monitors vital signs.
- Reviews and recommends updates to nursing policies and procedures, develops memory care code books, and performs other duties as assigned.
- Familiarity with ECP software
- Previous experience in a leadership role in an assisted living community.
- Holds an active and unencumbered nursing license in the state of South Dakota. Prefer an RN, but will consider an LPN as well.
- Minimum of two years' experience as a nurse in a healthcare facility.
Sign-on bonus of $2,500.

Salary: $27.00 - $36.00 per hour
