Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Retina Procedure Technician to join our team. This role involves assisting our physician with retina procedures, preparing patients, operating specialized diagnostic equipment, and ensuring the highest standard of care throughout the treatment process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare exam and procedure rooms for retina treatments
  • Assist physician during in-office retina procedures (e.g., injections, lasers, clinical trial treatments)
  • Operate and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment (OCT, fundus photography, fluorescein angiography)
  • Provide patient education before and after procedures
  • Maintain accurate medical records and charting
  • Ensure safety, cleanliness, and efficiency in the procedure area
  • Be able to do some day travel with a team
Qualifications
  • Previous ophthalmic or medical assisting experience preferred (COA/COT certification a plus)
  • Knowledge of retina procedures and ophthalmic equipment a bonus (training provided)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
  • Excellent communication and patient-care skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude
