Manufacturing Engineer Intern

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Industrial Engineering Intern to join our Process Engineering team. This internship offers hands‑on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, and quality assurance efforts.

• Assist process engineers in evaluating and improving manufacturing workflows and production efficiency.
• Support data collection and analysis for time studies, process mapping, and root‑cause investigations.
• Participate in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement lean manufacturing principles.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of fixtures, tools, and workstation layouts.
• Help monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production and quality.
• Support onboarding and training documentation for new equipment or processes.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field (junior or senior standing preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or quality systems is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CAD or process simulation tools is a bonus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Self‑motivated and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
