JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Create 3D models of new designs utilizing PTC Creo.
- Develop and document functional requirements and translating into detail design documents.
- Oversee the efforts of drafting teams to create any manufacturing drawings related to your designs.
- Perform needed analysis activities to aid in development and refinement of designs.
- Participate in and support proposal preparation, cost estimates, and technical reports.
- Communicate technical information to team members, other engineering teams and suppliers.
- Develop technical documentation for the operation of new tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical engineering preferred) with 1 years’ experience.
- Open to Internship experience.
- Proficiency in application of PTC Creo or other parametric 3D modeling and/or simulation tools.
- Experience with design and development of product tooling for service applications.
- Experience maintaining or operating heavy equipment.
- Experience with modeling/designing in 3d parametric modeling software (i.e. Creo, Inventor, Solidworks, etc.).
- Experience with application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
- Mechanical print reading and/or drafting experience.
- Experience with various analytical/simulation tools (i.e. Finite Element Analysis, Bolted Joint Analysis, Tolerance Stack-ups, etc.).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational and time management practices.
- Ability to work within a team or independently.
- Good critical thinking skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a team dynamic.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts or ideas within a team.
