Project Engineer- Cavalier, ND

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is looking for a Project Engineer in Cavalier, ND.

Base pay range: $–$ per year. Final compensation will be based on experience and discussed during the interview.

Cavalier SFB – Cavalier, ND

• Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning through closeout.
• Manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to meet milestones; serve as primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Review contract documents for schedule compliance and reasonableness.
• Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Implement quality control measures and conduct regular inspections and audits.
• Review and analyze contractor plans and submittals for approval, including progress schedules, environmental, safety, and quality control programs, certifications, and shop drawings.
• Prepare correspondence on contractor performance, requests for equitable adjustments (REAs), requests for information (RFIs), and other technical issues.
• Assist with hosting site visits and presenting to owners’ representatives.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to team members; oversee contract negotiations, administration, and compliance.
• Monitor scheduled progress and advise the Resident Engineer, COR, and project team of potential slippage or delay.
• Prepare partial and final payment estimates, including measurement and computation of pay item quantities, verification of materials on hand, and percentage complete of lump sum items.
• Produce monthly project reports displaying status and updates for customers.
• Participate in all phases of the contract modification process; assist in preparation of scopes of work for RFPs, government estimates, contractor proposals, and contract modification documentation.
• Attend and participate in meetings with customers and contractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of construction project management experience.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience with federal construction projects, especially U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), preferred.
• Strong background in project management with ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Technical proficiency in creating and delivering presentation materials electronically.
