Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is looking for a Project Engineer in Cavalier, ND.
Salary & CompensationBase pay range: $–$ per year. Final compensation will be based on experience and discussed during the interview.

Responsibilities- Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning through closeout.
- Manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to meet milestones; serve as primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
- Review contract documents for schedule compliance and reasonableness.
- Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Implement quality control measures and conduct regular inspections and audits.
- Review and analyze contractor plans and submittals for approval, including progress schedules, environmental, safety, and quality control programs, certifications, and shop drawings.
- Prepare correspondence on contractor performance, requests for equitable adjustments (REAs), requests for information (RFIs), and other technical issues.
- Assist with hosting site visits and presenting to owners’ representatives.
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to team members; oversee contract negotiations, administration, and compliance.
- Monitor scheduled progress and advise the Resident Engineer, COR, and project team of potential slippage or delay.
- Prepare partial and final payment estimates, including measurement and computation of pay item quantities, verification of materials on hand, and percentage complete of lump sum items.
- Produce monthly project reports displaying status and updates for customers.
- Participate in all phases of the contract modification process; assist in preparation of scopes of work for RFPs, government estimates, contractor proposals, and contract modification documentation.
- Attend and participate in meetings with customers and contractors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of construction project management experience.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Experience with federal construction projects, especially U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), preferred.
- Strong background in project management with ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Technical proficiency in creating and delivering presentation materials electronically.
