Construction Superintendent

SECO Construction, Inc. has an immediate opening for an exceptional Commercial Construction Superintendent to join its commercial building team in Rapid City, SD. • Five years related experience and/or training
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as plans, specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in construction of buildings or other construction projects personally or through subordinate supervisors and/or employees.
• Mentor, coach and train subordinates.
• Manage the assets of labor, materials, and machinery/equipment so project is completed on or before scheduled completion time, in a manner that meets or exceeds company quality standards, at or under budget.
• Coordinate all aspects of the construction project with Project Manager including review of project costs.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, design professionals and owner representatives at the job site.
• Effectively leads and manages all construction activity at the project site.
