Venue Representative – Randolph

Part-Time | In-Person

U.S.

-based position located at Longo Planetarium, 214 Center Grove Rd, Cohen Hall, Randolph, NJ 07869. Successful applicants will be hired into one of Poseidon Music Ltd’s U.S.

-based partner companies.

WORLDS® produces fully immersive cinematic music and art projection experiences for planetariums and giant-screen theaters across the U.S. and worldwide. What You’ll Do
  • Set up and take down signage, check-in tables, and merchandise displays; ensure all devices are fully charged.
  • Greet, check‑in, and assist guests throughout their experience, answering questions and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Facilitate merchandise sales, track inventory, report issues, and request additional assets as needed.
  • Monitor event flow, troubleshoot real-time issues, and maintain a professional, solutions‑oriented approach.
  • Stay in active contact with Venue Operations and venue staff, sharing updates, concerns, and feedback to continuously improve guest experience.
Who You Are
  • Strong communicator who confidently engages guests and venue staff.
  • Tech‑savvy, comfortable using iPhones, mobile apps, and Whats App.
  • Reliable, punctual, detail‑oriented, with excellent judgment.
  • Proactive problem solver who remains calm under pressure.
  • Team player with leadership skills, able to direct on‑site venue staff as needed.
Schedule & Commitment

Fridays & Saturdays | 3:30 PM – 8:45 PM

Initial Scheduled Dates:

  • 12/19/2025 – Friday
  • 12/20/2025 – Saturday
  • 12/27/2025 – Saturday
  • 01/02/2026 – Friday
  • 01/03/2026 – Saturday
  • 01/09/2026 – Friday
  • 01/10/2026 – Saturday
  • 01/30/2026 – Friday
  • 01/31/2026 – Saturday

Additional dates will be assigned based on ticket sales and venue scheduling.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service or event operations (hospitality, retail, or similar).
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the venue.

  • Guest Satisfaction:
    Consistently positive audience feedback and smooth check‑ins.
  • Operational Accuracy:
    Setup, check‑in, and breakdown follow all company procedures without missed steps.
  • Communication Quality:
    Timely, clear updates shared with Venue Operations before, during, and after events.
  • Merchandise Management:
    Accurate inventory tracking and prompt sales reporting.
  • Reliability:
    Arrival on time, fully prepared, and ready to represent the WORLDS brand professionally.
  • Problem Solving:
    On‑site challenges handled calmly with quick, effective resolutions.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Employees must regularly talk or hear, use hands or fingers, handle tools or controls, occasionally stand, walk, sit, and reach. The position may require lifting up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include close and distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. Work environment noise level is usually low to moderate.
